Terms of use

These Terms of Use apply to the LastBox website operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd. By using this site, you agree to these terms and to the lawful use of the information, forms and service details provided here.

1. Website use and general conduct

This website is provided for customers and prospective customers seeking self-storage units, moving boxes and packing supplies in Midrand, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Centurion and Kempton Park, as well as nearby Gauteng areas. You may use the site to learn about storage services, request information through the enquiry form and review general guidance on packing, access and moving support.

You must not use the site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with normal operation, or to submit false, misleading or harmful information. Any misuse of the site may result in us refusing further communication through the enquiry form.

2. Information shown on the site

We aim to keep service information accurate and current, including details about unit access, packing supplies, business storage support and move-in help. However, site content may change from time to time to reflect operational requirements, local access arrangements, or updated procedures for safety and administration.

Any guidance on unit size, packing, storage planning or access should be treated as general information only. It is your responsibility to confirm the suitability of any unit or service for your own items, and to seek clarification where needed before making arrangements.

3. Enquiries, communication and response times

Enquiries submitted through the contact page form are received for follow-up by the LastBox team. Responses may relate to storage availability, access arrangement, packing supply advice, archive planning, stock organisation or move-out planning, depending on the nature of the request.

  • You are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact details.
  • You must not submit another person’s information without authority.
  • Response times may vary according to demand, public holidays and operating conditions.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or reservation unless it is confirmed separately by the team.

4. Storage, access and customer responsibilities

Access to self-storage units and related facilities is governed by the access arrangements in place at the relevant site. Customers are expected to follow site instructions, observe opening hours and respect any security procedures, loading bay rules or entry checks that apply at the time of visit.

Customers remain responsible for packing items properly, protecting fragile goods, and storing only items allowed under applicable law and site rules. Items should be kept in suitable packaging, especially where there is coastal humidity, seasonal rain or long-term storage involved.

5. Packing supplies and moving support

LastBox supplies moving boxes and packing materials for general domestic and business use. Advice on packing station setup, decluttering support, student storage help and office move support is offered as general guidance only. It is your duty to choose materials and packing methods suitable for your own goods.

  • Check boxes and materials before use for suitability and condition.
  • Do not overfill cartons or use damaged packaging for heavy items.
  • Label packed goods clearly for easier handling and retrieval.

We do not guarantee that any packing method will prevent loss, breakage or deterioration. Careful packing and proper storage conditions remain important.

6. Liability and exclusions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LastBox and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd are not liable for indirect loss, missed business opportunity, consequential damage or loss arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content. This includes losses resulting from inaccurate user supplied information, unauthorised access, interruptions, technical faults or delays beyond our control.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

7. Changes to terms and governing law

We may update these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. The version published on the site at the time of use will apply, so you should review this page from time to time if you are continuing to use the website for enquiries or information. Continued use after changes have been posted means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from use of the website will be dealt with under South African law and in the appropriate forum having jurisdiction.
